An ESSA OT Advocacy Network has been formed nationally to promote and support OT practitioners as Specialized Instructional Support Personnel (SISP) across general and special education under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). Emphasis is on advocacy and educating others regarding contributions occupational therapists can make to students' physical and mental health in multi-tiered systems of support at Tiers 1 and 2. If you are interested in participating in this group, Email Jean Polichino at jpolichino@gmail.com ASAP for information regarding the next meeting of this group on February 22.
